Ultrafuse PP GF30 – 2.85mm, 700g
Ultrafuse PP GF30 is a glass fiber-reinforced polypropylene filament developed by BASF’s Forward AM for high-performance, functional 3D printing. Containing 30% glass fiber by weight, this material offers exceptional mechanical strength, dimensional stability, and heat resistance, making it ideal for structural and industrial applications where standard PP or PLA would fail.
Designed for professionals in the automotive, aerospace, and tooling sectors, PP GF30 has excellent resistance to chemicals, UV, and fatigue, and it maintains its properties even in challenging environmental conditions. With a heat deflection temperature (HDT) of approximately 127°C, it is suitable for high-temperature environments and long-term load-bearing parts.
Its reinforced structure makes the filament significantly stiffer than unfilled PP, though it also requires hardened nozzles (≥ 0.6 mm, such as steel or ruby) due to the abrasive nature of the fibers. A polypropylene-compatible bed surface or adhesive is strongly recommended to ensure optimal adhesion during printing.
